I got the rifle with a G1 Fort Max that I got on eBay... I think that the guy said that it was a knockoff, which would explain the color. It's exactly the same size and shape as the original Fort Max gun, and when I got the original blue gun Brave Max inherited the maroon one. I still might actually paint it red... we'll see.
