Planet Iacon have posted a new image of the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction First Edition Movie Optimus Prime leader class action figure. While the Amazon page did not list the scale of the figure. A new comparison shot has surfaced that compares the figure with MP-10 Optimus Prime and Revenge of the Fallen Leader Optimus Prime showing the First Edition Movie Optimus Prime figure is a bit taller if you count the pipes and back-kibble. See the image below for the full compare now. Read the Full News Story Here

It would be ironic that this would be the best TF Movie to date and produce the worst TF toys. I honestly think the simplification of the transformation is really rooted in reducing cost of the figures more so than making them simpler to transform for kids. I really hope that there are only a handful of figures that are good (DOTM Skyhammer, Megatron) Megatron may be debatable, but Skyhammer is a great figure (that never got screen time) :tfevil

Most of the non-movie, movie toys are good and Skyhammer is the best.

It really doesn't help at all that the movie bots have so much line details. These new toys can't help but look like shellformers, since the transformations have nothing to do with the robot body itself.
