The official Transformers page have posted images of the Transformers Generations Voyager Scale Whirl figure will be coming to us in 2014.The classic favorite that was revealed at SDCC has returned for the Transformers brand's 30th anniversary in a brand new voyager class figure mold. This is a fine coincidence. As I grow weary of the high cost of Third Party products, Hasbro is now going to make toys that I actually want to buy.

Agreed! I still have that crappy RB that came in the two pack with the repainted Springer. He's no Roadbuster! I would like to see the marvel crossover figure of Captain America used for this mold, with a ton of weapons added to him. I've seen this mold used by several customizers and it fits fairly well, and would keep Hasbro from having to dump a wad on a new mold. That said, I think the majority of us would like something a bit more true but hey...

I'm not familiar with the 2 pack you are talking about....I'll have to do some research and find it. I dunno, that mold has always felt cheap to me. I have Both Cpt. America and Iron Man made from this mold and that mold has it's issues.....I think at this point they need to just make a new mold for Roadbuster. Since this figure is a brand new mold, I find myself wondering what figure they are going to retool and repaint this guy into since we know that Hasbro rarely make a figure and doesn't reuse it somehow. Which leads me to my next question...IF they did make a Roadbuster figure using a new mold, what other character could they make from it? If there is at least 1 - 2 figures that could fit that mold then I can see them making it.....which I think would be fine....
