Masterpiece Soundwave

Nemesis Prime 2x13

I agree, but its nice that Hasbro has gone to the Takara style boxes. Now you can store them better if need be. I still have Thundercracker and Optimius' packaging, but it's pretty lame compared to the reusable boxes of Soundwave and Acid Storm. By the way, where did you read the stories about damaged Soundwaves? I want to read up on that.

Look at the customer reviews on TRU.com. Almost every one of them are complaining about beat up boxes and poor shipping. A bunch of folks added pics of their "trashed" boxes.

I got Acid Storm last week and all of three on the shelf did have some kind of damage. However, I prefer this style of box to those ugly clear boxes that just look ugly once you've opened them and taken out the toy.

still tinkering with mine to discover all his features. his hip joints have me worried that they'll break one day when i swing his legs forward...and Rumble and Frenzy always gets stuck inside him. but otherwise this thing is utterly amazing. Solid in both modes. The working controls on his cassette player mode were a nice touch too. He's got so many gimmicks that the instructions dont even touch up on

I'll be honest, I haven't even transformed Soundwave yet. I know, that's bad!!! LOL!!! My Frenzy gets stuck too. Rumble hasn't been inside yet. The instructions are worthless. I had to read Fwoosh.com's review to realize that Rumble and Frenzy's pile drivers connect to the little silver piece and then plug into Soundwave like a external thumb drive. And just think, we didn't have to pay $59 for two cassettes!! I love his guy!!! Grimlock has always been my favorite out of my MPs, but SW might take that spot!!!!

The only TRU near me that had gotten them in and had the price tag on the shelf... I went there yesterday and the price tag was removed. Already those gold box figures were there so maybe I've missed the window.

I have a MP Soundwave I just picked up today. If you need a Soundwave, I will sell him at cost plus shipping. PM me. Please don't respond if you already have one. I picked it up for someone who hasn't been able to get one yet. If you need feedback, contact Lord Atmo as I got one for him and shipped it out. First person to PM will get first dibs and I'll give you my PayPal email address. If it doesn't work out, then it'll go to the second responder and so on. Be advised I can't ship him out until Monday, and I shipped Lord Atmo's Soundwave Parcel Post because USPS wanted $35 for priority shipping.

Shipping shouldn't be more than $15 for parcel post. He'll be bubble wrapped for protection.

    • Please tell me this won't be the only release of TFP Cliffjumper...
    • If you've not had your fill of Transformers collaborative news today, here is some more with a leaked product listing for the Project Knight: Transformers X Knight Rider crossover. We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers news for the newest multipack and some reissues. We also talked collaboratives with TMNT, an Ectotron reissue and, maybe, even Star Wars? Plus, we address the MP Ginrai teaser image and answer who is Riggorus?
    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
