First Look At Generations Voyager Whirl From SDCC 2013

Thanks to Instagram user starlock who has posted a photo of the upcoming Generations Whirl figure on display at the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic Con. As you can see in the image below, this toy hews closely to the original G1 Whirl toy, rather than the current IDW comics design as many had hoped for. I like this figure. I think they went a little too G1 inspired, but I like it and will buy him when I find him. His alt mode looks awesome IMHO.

MINE! Love this guy! Cannot wait to grab him and he's such an upgrade from his G-1 counterpart. I loved that toy. :)

I was happy to see that the panel slides are showing the display Whirl to be mistransformed. With the knees just so slightly bent backwards it starts to show the personality of MTMTE Whirl, even if just a little.
