Boy, Gizmodo tried to talk about this (and others), but...well, this is what happens when you have a non-fan/collector write a piece...

What about equally tall 2-foot Fortress Maximus preceding this figure by 26 years? Well, to be fair, ToyFair evidently forgot about that too, when they dubbed this figure the biggest Transformer EVER, so can't fault the writer completely for that. And, it's not "Predacon King Dragon"...just Predaking. :doh

But about this titan: IMPRESSIVE! :thumb

Would have looked a little better with a thicker waste. Not sure what's going on with the hands in back during battle station mode. Other than that, looks great.

Was Fort Max made initially by Takara or Hasbro back then? If it was Takara then that would make this Metro the biggest TF Hasbro has ever made :D

Made or designed? There is evidence that Metroplex was initially designed to be a Diaclone toy, as hinted to here:

I shouldn't complain much though... I never thought we will see a Transformers this size again... Omega, Fort Max and now Metroplex... This is the year for big TFs... I hope we see Scorponok as the next Titan Class...

Not me, I'd rather have Trypticon. The last Scorponok still suits G1 Scorponok (decently) enough. The closest thing Trypticon has is computer mouse repaint of Grimlock.
