Anybody see that these two are up for pre-order on BBTS? I pre-ordered Prowl. Also, note on their home page that a yellow repaint of Sideswipe is also up for pre-order utilizing the Tiger Track name. Couldn't they have just retooled it and called it Sunstreaker?

Also, note on their home page that a yellow repaint of Sideswipe is also up for pre-order utilizing the Tiger Track name. Couldn't they have just retooled it and called it Sunstreaker?

 

If you remember that interview with the guy responsible for the MP line reboot, I'm not surprised Sunstreaker isn't a retool of Sideswipe. He said that he wanted the new line to be as accurate as possible, so a yellow Sideswipe with a different head or whatever probably wouldn't fly to be Sunstreaker. But I wonder if they will also make some Diaclone repaints of MP Sideswipe, such as the police car and the black version.

Bluestreak, Streak. I don't care for the Silverstreak name. Maybe for once the US can use the Japanese name of Streak instead.

Yea, the MP line isnt going to take the cheap way out like Generations did. We'll get a whole new mold for Sunstreaker. so they can repaint that into the police and red Diaclone vehicles too.
