Official Images of Brawn Generations GDO Edition Figure in and Out of Box

Thanks to the 78dm forums member spyder. who has posted a couple of official images of the

Transformers Generations GDO Brawn action figure. This is a remake of the Transformers Prime First Edition Bulkhead action figure with a new head. As Puma stated, the only reason I'll be getting him is for the Asian writing on the box. He will stay in the packaging and be in my unopened display. The figure however is really lame looking. I have nothing against the Bulkhead toy, but to try and pass this off as Brawn......really?

I actually think that Brawn could work for this mold, but it was executed with Hasbro tenure of fail. If the head had been larger and there was some better color schemes I think it would have been a really good homage. Looks like they went with the FE version of him. I bet this guy will be hard to find....more so than Hot Spot. If it didn't have the Brawn head, I would say it looks way more like a Roadbuster than Brawn.....

 

I want him specifically for that headsculpt. I bet it is the right scale for an Alternator.....hopefully someone will get his one and decides to make casting from this one.....:D

I'm also with Superconductor. I'm not sure yet if this fits well with the Prime line.

 

Imo, his head looks great but it looks a little too small for his body. The idea of using Bulkhead's body is a good idea. Problem is, I think they used the wrong version. I would like to see his head on the RID version or even better use this idea using the Beast Hunters version.

I'm contemplating getting this mold simply to turn in to Roadbuster(cause it's a travesty as Brawn IMO). Maybe I can find a RB head on shapeways or some place similar in the near future if not already.

Remember, this figure goes with the Generations line. It just doesn't fit in well with the Generations line. If, it were to go into the Prime line, it DEFINITELY wouldn't fit in being there's already a green Bulkhead. I do agree, that head sculpt is quite nice.
