Lego Not Taking Kre-o Lightly?

Lego would own Hasbro, as Lego has been doing this a lot longer than Hasbro. And all of Hasbro's have been crap since the get go, and Kre-O has been on the clearance shelves for months almost a year and still Hasbro thinks they can bring a profit

Hasbro vs. 3rd party defeats that argument

I don't understand. Can you site the court case when Hasbro last sued someone over IP infrinfement over a Transformer please? Hasn't happened in over 20 years that I'm aware of.

FYI. Hasbro went after Asus recently over the Transformer PCs and LOST!

Good for Lego, as that is all what Kreo is a rip off of Lego. Lego should sue Hasbro already for the blatant trademark and copyright infringements

That battle is long over. Lego lost the rights to owning the basic Lego brick design a while back. There are dozens of brick companies now.

I think both Hasbro and Lego know they won't win this with lawsuits, but by trying to make the better toy that will sell more.

Lego didn't even invent that style of brick anyways, they ripped it off someone else!

I've been collecting Lego products since 1994, but I'm sorry lego...I gotta give it to Kre-O between those and the Power Mech here

Why? Articulation. I KNOW you could've easily made his knees bend too. Exo Force, anyone?

True, but that was a fight over a name,, not about the toys.

That's pretty neat, all it needs is a Kreo style head and it would make a great Springer. or hell, make it orange and you got Sandstorm.

I've seen a lot of Lego snobs dismissing this report as people over-reacting. They say there is no resemblence to Bulkhead, and that Lego creator sets that form a robot are nothing new, but one thing they don't address is that this isn't just a Lego Creator set that makes a truck or a robot. It's a Lego Creator set that makes a truck or a robot that has TRUCK KIBBLE. The robot chest is clearly the roof and hood of the truck. The robot shoulders have the truck headlights mounted on them. This isn't just any robot design, they made the robot look like the truck mode had changed into a robot. That's a design style Kre-O uses to immitate transformation, but putting car kibble on the robot. It's something no Lego creator set has done before. Lego has made a robot in the style of a Kre-O Transformer robot!
