X2 Toys Transformers Prime Soundwave Upgrade Pack Adds Power-bat And Power-beak Recon Assistants

Third party toy maker X2 Toys have released an image of a new project they are releasing for the Transformers Prime Soundwave action figure. The upgrade pack adds two recon assistants to the character named: Power Bat and Power Beak. The robo-birds are shown in a glowing red color that is hard to tell if that is the plastic color or something else. The figures will have fittings to mount on his chest like Laserbeak does. That's kind of neat....but we already have Laserbeak and soon Ravage......so the bat is good....but where is rumble and frenzy? I'm sure the price tag makes thes unjustifiable in my book but I do think it is kind of a novel idea....

Rumble and Frenzy are cars in Prime continuity, and will see release in Takara's Arms Micron line. Rumble is also being currently released in the Prime RID line, no word on Frenzy yet.

That's right I forgot they are now full sized figures in prime.....I was actually talking about them as mini figures that could fit in SW's chest.....I guess there is only squaktalk,overkill, slugfest, and beast box then....

Yeah, I really don't see any third parties making them as chest companions, none of the 3rd party toymakers are touching Prime with anything more complex than add-on weapons and accessories.

Probably to play it safe, as most of the items they make are from past lines that Hasbro has shown little interest in revisiting
