Voyager Price Went Up At Walmart...

So i didn't notice this when i bought my Voyager Dreadwing yesterday, but the Walmart i went to priced it at $21.96. To those wondering about Voyager prices going up outside TRU stores, well there ya go. Soon enough, Voyagers will be $25 is the pattern with deluxe figures is followed.

Then price match them back down to $19.99 with Target, that is what I did when I got Dreadwing

I didn't notice until I was home. Not going to burn the $2 I would have gotten back in the gas to drive there and back. When Ultra Magnus is out, I'll probably price match them. Also, when I find Kuo and Rumble, I'll be to have them price match TRU's $14.99 price point.

I'm really questioning whether or not they will so drastically this year. Target has already announced plans to "resist big black Friday deals" this year. In other words, they're not going to do any huge markdowns to compete with other retailers, aside from that I don't know. It will probably be a business as usual type day with no special plans.

 

I also heard awhile back that shoppers expecting the same big holiday deals this year will be rather disappointed. So that's not good news either.

 

 

I saw Walmart raised deluxes to $15.79 I think it was or some crazy shit. TRU is now even cheaper!

In all respect $22 bucks for a Voyager isn't too bad. It's more of when it shoots up to $25 or $30 bucks overnight that I have a problem with. Looks like the prices are here to stay though boys and girls. I went to Hasbrotoyshop and found Deluxes for Transformers Prime going for $14.99 there. Meh. Just something to get use to? :shrug

 

Still though it does influence my buying multiple items like I used to. Was nice bringing home a few items and the price point made it worth the buy too.

kmart is selling deluxes for 19 now. stores will only price match if you have an ad. this really sucks

Not True, I make Walmart Price match all the time, even without an add.

 

Weaponizer Optimus Prime $29.99 at Target

Deluxe's $12.99 at Fry's

Cyberverse Commander $7.99 at Target (Made up price but Walmart Pirce matches the price)

 

All in all Walmart will price match without an add up to $10, they are required to believe it or not.
