Following up on the news of Tomica's released new Transformers die-cast vehicles, we have images and confirmation via Amazon Japan and FMH they will be Transformers Prime toys featuring the No. 147 Optimus Prime truck cab and the No. 142 Bumblebee. These 1:64 scale collectible cars are part of the Tomica's long running "Toys Dream" series. How big are they? It would be awesome if Hasbro or someone made die-cast or slightly larger than those SpeedStars cars for the TF series. I don't just mean the new stuff, but even the whole series like G1 and G2. Probably a pipe-dream.

i'll wait until these pop up into Tuesday Mornings....even though TRU claims to have the exclusive on theses toys.

Wal-Marts here carried them for a spell, too.

However, I don't think these are actually slated for US release as the Tomica line is handled by Tomy, not Hasbro. (Though, I still think Hasbro's "Speed Stars" was testing the waters for Tomy to release Tomica domestically, so I could be wrong. :shrug )

I'm more curious about the other cars in the line. Have they been shown off?
