3rd party figure input

Greetings fellow trans-fans, I need your opinions on the Mastermind Creations Knight Morpher Cyclops figure, and Igears Medical and Weapons specialist figures. I am looking to purchase one of these figures in the near future, and would like to know how they are.

Both of Igears Weapons and medical Specialists are out finally, BBTS has them now. Though I would go with MMC's Cyclops, he is sturdy and bad ass. He does have some issues, that MMC has posted on their website about how to fix, since they can not fix the ones that have been released already but they are working with the manufacturer about getting those fixed. He is easily tops over Igears stuff. Though since I do not have Weapons or Medical Specialists I can not say for certain either way.

Knight Morpher Cyclops is very cool. Take your time with transforming him, and maybe watch Vange1us' transformation video for him, as he is very intimidating the first time or so. Thing is though, there haven't been enough preorders to do a second release apparently, and the factories are gonna be busy with the airborne squadron trio along with maybe one or two other things for the rest of the year. So if you're looking into getting Cyclops, it may be best to get one now from wherever they're still in stock. MMC has good and prompt customer service should there be any issues.

 

I can't say anything for iGear Weapon or Medical Specialists, but it seems that a mod is needed to allow the front wheel well panels to actually fold in as intended. Both look nice though, just not quite $120 nice.

Weapon and Medical Specialist are both pure awesome, just win all around and fantastic examples of how far Igear has stepped their game up from when they were simply making knock-off MP's. Solid figures, very well balanced, the vehicle modes are beautiful, and the personal armory each possesses is just ridiculously cool. The only gripe I have isn't really a gripe, it's the die-cast chrome ankles, they just look.... weird, almost like Igear was trying to emulate Takara's Henkei line (where every single figure in the line had a randomly selected piece of vacuum-metalized plastic somewhere). I can live with it, just a rather bizarre aesthetic. Each figure comes with two additional heads, Weapons Specialist has two IDW inspired heads(I prefer the head he starts out with as that seems to be more modeled after the G1 animation, Medical Specialist has onw IDW inspired head and a Marvel comics colored head (I prefer the Marvel comics head, though the G1 animation colored head is pretty nice too).

Hopefully he will still be in stock when I am ready to order, which will be end of September/ early October, when I get my next vacation check. If not then I will order the specialist figures, but hopefully I will be lucky enough to score a cyclops.

I know of a few places that still have him, most are scared off by his price tag, so he will be around for awhile. Plus I think MMC was planning on making more of him not sure though
