Masterpiece Thundercracker USA

Recommended Posts

When I heard about Masterpiece Thundercracker coming to the states, I thought I was thrilled. But when the mold was of MP11 Starscream, instead of MP7, I got the finger :(

I mean what's going on, does the Transformers francies hate the number "7"? is SKYWARP worth being the same as the perfect starscream more than TC will ever be?

Only thing to do is blow $300+ to get the real thing rather than settle for what Hasbro is trying to shove our @$$es

I prefer the MP-11 tooling, I think the MP-03 mold just plain sucks as it was, the robot modes lower body looked god awful!

I'll be getting MP-11, and TRU MP Thundercracker, and then patiently awaiting the Takara Skywarp.

The mold has been improved and you're complaining about the fact, just cause it's not the same as the previous two figs? I welcome the fact we're getting the newer mold for thundercracker. I'm just a but angsty about the paintjob TBH

Not to me, 13 is bad luck for me

Besides, here stateside that's not officially MP-11, it's really US MP-07.... or US MP-08

Unofficially numbered, lol but Thundercracker is the 7th US MP release... or 8th... which is coming out first? TC or OP?

I Agree with others in this thread. I welcome the newer improved MP seeker mold being used for Hasbro TRU MP Thundercracker.

Honestly it's a retool. it's not a brand new mold. 90% of the original mold is still their. who cares it their's some newer parts. most of those newer parts look decent & don't ruin the toy's look. As long I can buy this for under $70 then that's all I care about. I'm not about to get upset about the re-tooled parts & spend quadruple+shipping fees for the takara MP Thundercracker version.

If I had over $300 to spend on MP Thundercracker. then I'd rather buy four hasbro versions verses only being able to buy one takara version.

I just like the Takara version myself. Nothing against the Hasbro version, though I am sure I will get him also

Just so I can have two versions of the MP Seekers
