SDCC 2012 - Transformers Prime Display at Wednesday Night Preview Shows Off Thundertron

Rob is right. It appears that Hasbro has listened to retailers (not really the fans) pleading to no longer ship different versions of the Bumblebee mold, which is obvious after swapping out certain waves of Shadowstrike Bumblebee with Vehicons, not shipping another FE Bumblebee in the TRU assortments, etc.

While Bumblebee is iconic and fans will want him at first, pushing them in every subsequent wave will cause exactly what you are seeing now - clogged pegs. I, for one, am happy with the reveals that Hasbro offered today, and may have to start hunting.

I'm just glad I do not have to import all of the GDO's.

Though I will have to disagree about Bumblebee being Iconic and wanting him first. Optimus Prime is iconic. For Bumblebee, I think was more of Hasbro trying to make him iconic and it backfired in their faces

Like it or not. BB is the face of TF to the younger Generation. He's the cool one to kids and the mainstream audience. It's been him at the forefront since 2007. Makes sense that retailers would want more of him on shelves. Thats slown down enough for them to change the case assortments. So, now in a few months we'll have to find something else to complain about.

I disagree about BB being the face of the younger TF fans, so I will agree to disagree there.

We will still be complaining about all the Bumblebees that are still clogging the shelves months from now LOL

Dude, folks are still complaining about all the Transquitos at TRU.

I can dream, can't I?

Yes you can and so can I, I still remember when the 2007 toys came out, a dad showed a Bumblebee to his son, and his son said no he wanted Barricade instead. So that is how I know all this about BB is BS.

Hopefully the retailers will just too the Bumblebee's on the death shelves of clearance that way they can actually put out the figures that everyone wants.

See it's the exact opposite here. I can hear kids clamoring for BB before I even get to the aisle. They over saturated that.

How can they cry about not getting a BB? Every TRU I go to has at least 30 of them in at least 4 different series types. That's like going to the supermarket and crying there's no ice cream :tflaugh

Who said anything about cry, I said clamor. As in getting all excited and yelling his name upon site.

BB and John Cena who they always pronounce 'DON DENA'

But like I said, over saturated.

And I still remember Christmas 2007 when there was nary a dan Bumblebee to be found. I eventually had to get a Premium series BB. Seriously, the Target 2 packs disappeared fast, FABs were empty, no Bumblebee of any kind anywhere.

I never thought at that time I'd come to prefer it that way....
