Could the Transformers Optimus Prime Jetwing Movie figures be coming to the USA as an Amazon exclusive? Just when we thought MECHTECH was dead and gone, this appears. According to a new pre-order page it looks like this set may be coming our way. With a hefty price tag of $105 USD, one can assume this is a larger set with a supreme class figure and accessories in it - better be for that price. Amazon has updated the product page for the Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Jetwing Optimus Prime figure and has revealed that not only will the figure finally make it stateside, but Amazon will be pimping the figure with a retailer exclusive deco as well. Unlike the DA15 Takara Tomy variant, the weapons will get some paint attention to match the rest of the figure's color scheme as well as some clever paint designs to make it seem like the plastic in middle part of the gun has been swapped with clear plastic. I'd love to get the Jetwing accessories, but I don't want to pay that price to also get an all new Optimus. Especially after all the work I've put into my original...

I can't stand Mechtech, it is pointless and you have to go in and removes the springs just so the weapon will stay looking like a weapon on the shelf, otherwise it looks like they are just holding a pile of plastic

Yeah it was $200, and I bought the Takara one already also, and even though Hasbro is bringing it over THIS! late in the game. I am still glad I bought the Takara one.

If you want the Amazon one, then you better pre-order him now before all the scalpers take him. Amazon does not do the one per limit. and most will show up again on Amazon for double the price the same day it becomes

available.

I'm happy & content with my regular release ROTF Leader optimus Prime toy.

 

The only way i'd buy this jetwing accessory is if it came with armor boots. to increase the robot mode height. this doesn't come with boots,so this is a easy pass.
