Recommended Posts

Fans that were upset last week when Amazon served up and quickly pulled a pre-order page of the Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron G2 Bruticus set should rejoice: it is now back up! Images of each individual figure in the Generation 2 colors are also now available with the reinstatement of the page. The five-figure set was listed at $59.99 last week but is currently listed as unavailable. Continue reading... Read the Full News Story Here

I think Blast off looks great in these white colors. the white makes him look more like a space shuttle. I'll admit I hate the purple legs & purple deco all over blastoff. I actually think FOC G-2 Blastoff's colors are better than the SDCC & Mass release blastoff colors/.

I'll be buying or trying to buy the SDCC bruticus next tuesday. hopefully the hasbro site works for me next tuesday & i'm allowed to order one set of FOC SDCC bruticus.

I think it would be awesome if Takara released FOC Bruticus in G-1 colors. then E-Hobby releases FOC Bruticus in 1992 "Operation Combination" battle Gaia colors.

I honestly want the G2 versions over the SDCC deco. Thats still at retail right? I'd rather buy them at a store than online.

I kinda like it, and it's the cheapest option for this set so far. I can't imagine they're trying to appealing to kids with this set though. I think it's a nostalgia-based cash grab.

    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked about a big rumor (I can't stress rumor enough) of a new SS 86 Hot Rod, we dive deeper into Ironhide and cover this week's news, including the 2 Canon crossovers. Plus, we play 2 rounds of trivia and do this week's unboxing!
    • Been a lotta work over the years for the fans. Worth it. As for Cyril's collection, it is my entire childhood and then some.
    • I know he's not going to read this most likely but you're not supposed to be able to separate the car mode easily you twit. It's only supposed to happen when you plug it onto the Menasor frame. That's like complaining about a Powermaster not being able to easily transform if you don't have the engine in it. It's the whole point. And the people who say that Hasbro is coping third party figures. Are you serious? Hasbro is just copying the cartoon designs. Designs that they own. Which is what the third party were copying. CW Menasor was trying to emulate the toys more than anything with the scramble aspect. They were also trying to make Menasor's design work more like the rest of the Scramble City style combiners. It's just that how can they be copying something that they came up with first? And that Crasher still sucks. It should've been a retool of Dragstrip instead of just a redeco of Mirage with the other Mirage's spare head. Slicks should be the redeco of Mirage if you want to do a Gobot from him due to the similar parts layouts. Dragstrip when done right will always look more like Crasher as they have similar parts layouts. Even G1 Dragstrip looks like G1 Crasher. The front goes behind the head on both but in slightly different ways. Even still, you can make that same piece look like Crasher's.
    • Sideways is a bot of many hats. Herald of Unicron, glorified movie cameo, and Master Yogi to name a few. As far as I can tell this isn't a licensed car, which is ok as it allows for more wiggle room with the design and it shows. This is one of the few car transformers I didn't struggle with getting panels lined up and pegged into place. Robot mode is squat and lanky but once you have the legs bent properly they hold Sideways up well and it's pretty posable. If you've been looking for some of the more obscure characters from the live-action movies to get a figure, Sideways is a solid purchase.
