Bad buyer on eBay... How should I handle this?

Are you sure the one he sent you is the same one? I honestly see Ebay just sending him the money. But keep him on block so when you do relist it. But I also would not relist it right away. Now here is my question did he do the tracking on it? Or did it just show up? I would definitely inspect the thing to make sure. While filing a fraud on him

Here's a dirty trick you can play. Did he send it signature confirmation or delivery confirmation? If he sent it delivery confirmation you can 'claim' you never received it back. Of course, it means you can't resell it. But you could get him at his own game.

:agree

If you do resell it, then resell it on Craigslist later I definitely would not try to resell it right away, no matter what you decide to do

Dude that just saved you, as long as you didn't sign for it and it was just sitting on your doorstep. I had that happen with BBTS, where my first Music Label Soundwave was delivered to the wrong house, and UPS could not confirm that it was dropped off at my house so BBTS shipped me a replacement Soundwave. The guy who's house it was delivered to brought it over about month after I got my replacement. Supposedly it was under a bush that whole time and the box was not messed with. So as long as you did not sign anything you can claim you never received it

He shipped it via UPS. No signiture confirmation though.

And there, my friend, is your out. Contact the buyer, ask him if he has shipped it yet, ask for a tracking number and tell him you have not seen it yet. Once you verify that there was no signature confirmation and it shows as 'delivered', contact eBay/PayPal and claim that you never received the item. Under eBay's policy, the ball should fall back in his court for proof.

I suspose it couldn't hurt to do a appeal.

Has the ebay buyer received his money back from ebay/paypal yet? if not, a repeal put in by you might make ebay hold on to the funds until another decision gets made.

worse case scenario you make the buyer waste more of his time. by writting emails to ebay & paypal further explaining his situation.

If he sent you back what you sent him, the honest thing to do is give him his money back minus shipping costs since there was nothing wrong with the item... but there's no problem with making him waste more time with this transaction...

We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story

    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
