More news just in on the More Kabaya Transformers DX Fortess Maximus series that we reported on yesterday. The Rakuten site is now listing the figure with more details on the series as well as some new images confirming the Fortress Maximus figure will be a parts pack-in deal. Fans will get a part packed sub-base in with each blind box to build their Fort Max. This is no small task as you cannot see what's in each box. The set is listed for a July 2012 release at 2,625 JPY / $3 USD, Check out the images and more details after the jump. Read the Full News Story Here

Price is still messed up, it should be around $32.50, not $3, that's a big difference. HLJ.com will probably get it as they've gotten the previous sets. I might go for it, I've never owned a Fort Max and this is better than nothing. I wonder if this is where the rumor of a Fort Max reissue came from?

BBTS has also sold the previous Kabaya sets, too. I've picked up most of mine from them, but I think this time I'll preorder through HLJ. BBTS seems doesn't ship kits out until a few weeks after JP release.

I may buy a case myself. That machine translation really threw me off though. How many come to a case? How many parts does it take to make him? What other figures do the parts come with?

For the main waves, it's 3 for a complete set. The combiner waves, I believe there's 5 to a set, but I still have my combiner case sealed up, so I'm not 100%.

I believe the case break down is 8 figures for the main (2 full sets + 1 partial set), 10 figures for the combiner cases.

It seems to me there are only 3 peices. But there must be more in a case than just Fort Max parts right?

Why would there be?

Each Kabaya case is dedicated to the current line up, so if Kabaya's case is dedicated to the Fort Max lineup, that's all there is.

BBTS has put the case up for preorder. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=KAB10026&mode=retail

Ah! Thanks Taaron! If there's 8 to a case I better get at least one complete Fort Max out of it!

Say, is this an official Takara licensed product or a 3rd party deal?
