Takara Tomy Designer Hisashi Yuki @TOYROBOYUKI shared a very interesting bit of history on his SNS account recently for the Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy character. Originally, they wanted to maintain the Lion model from Lio Convoy, and even sketched what it might look like. So, my wife found ole Transformers Studio Series 62 ROTF Soundwave thrifting for about 3 bucks Canadian and figured why not take a look, even with the bad rep...had I paid full deluxe price though, I think I'd be livid. It's functional, sure, but "good" is a different story.
