I didnt think I was going to go, but I might be able to.

I have a question for those who have attended in the past. Should I register? I dont care about the exclusive set so I didnt plan on registering. Will I run into problems getting in the place because I didnt register? Is the dealer floor open the whole time? I am guessing it is but rather be safe.

I wont be able to go until Saturday (work sucks) and only stay for the day. Will that be worth it?

If you go the GenAd day and plan to get any exclusives, get there early. The lines build fast. Same for the panels.

Best deals on the Dealer Floor will be on Sunday. The closer it gets to being time to pack up the lower the prices get and the easier it gets to haggle. :D

Even though I am only 4 hours away, after what Hasbro has done, I'm not wasting my time this year.

 

But you will not run into any problems as you will be there for the general admission days, Sundays are the best deals day. No matter what time you show up on Saturday, you might get lucky and get an exclusive, but do not count on it.

Ive already registered and took the days off work. Im gonna be visiting with a friend too though so Im not going solely for Botcon.

The only exclusive I want is Octopunch, that's only because of a Shapeways kit that's in the works right now, which looks awesome even on the Seaspray version of the mold, and someone else's idea (I forget who's) to repaint a Beast Wars Razorclaw as his inner robot crab mode

I will talk to the wife, cause I already told her I wasn't going. So no promises if she lets me

 

Though I would only go for 2 reasons.

1) Meet others IRL

2) Find BWNeo X-7 Elephorce
