New G1 Comics

With the original G1 comics now continuing with no. 81 soon, obviously things are going to pick up where they were left off possibly bypassing the entire G2 era. Now my question is this:

With quite a few characters having been done for G2 and a few redoings of G1, do you guys think Furman will somehow include them at all. A la a very G1-esque Drift from the newer TF series or Road Pig or Turbofire from G2?

Only thing that sucks about the continuation of the G1 comics is that it is only a limited series(19 issues). Unlike G.I. Joe where it is an ongoing series.

Technically, the re-generation is 19.5 issues & not 19. because free comic book day in may has the 80.5 issue.

Hey, don't forget the 300-odd UK issues! :D And Furman is no stranger to incorporating elements from Marvel UK into Marvel US continuity (e.g. Matrix Quest); after all, Marvel UK continuity was written as an "expansion" of US continuity (with some exceptions like the Earthforce Saga which has since been officially retconned as out-of-continuity (it was really an excuse to feature the Hasbro G1 reissues that Hasbro USA never released in the N. American market)). :D
