One person voted hot crap shot and he makes the tally? yet Grimlock wasn't in the tally and he got voted twice? If hot crap shot gets in the HOF, then I would have lost all faith in the idea that Hasbro respects Transformers

and who voted bulkhead? :wat

I'm confused & new to these boards.

Does this mean Rodimus only got one vote from one member who replied in this thread? or does this mean rodimus got the most votes in this thread from various members replying in this thread? did rodimus get a "(1)" because he won or lost?

To be fair to the Hotshot persona/character. Hotshot was a fan favorite during the AEC cartoon/toy lines. hotshot in AEC,was extremly popular back then like bumblebee is extremly popular now.

In addition to the Hotshot character/toy being popular in the AEC universe. the Hotshot character started off being popular in the 2002 Rid cartoon series as a spychanger. then Hotshot received a cameo cartoon appearance in the animated cartoon series in season 3. then hotshot received another new mold toy in the classics 2.0 toy line. had animated been given a season four,we would have received a toy of hotshot as it was planned.

Hasbro has this thing for YELLOW,They love the color. Starting with beastwars, their's been a yellow colored TF character dominating the various TF cartoons/toy lines. It started with Cheetor, then moved on to hotshot, now the spotlight is on bumblebee.

Why am I seeing Hot Shot?

I mean damn! Hot Shot? Really?

No he wasn't, he was hated and despised like he is still today by the majority. hot crap shot is nothing more then a cheap and pathetic rip off, of Hot Rod

To answer all of your questions, the votes were tallied in this board, on the Tformers.com comments AND Facebook. We had over 170 votes and Rodimus won by a landslide.

Sorry, but the fans everywhere have spoken!

Hopefully Rodimus Prime makes it in and hot crap shot ends up in the trash can since that is where he belongs or at the end of my M4 on the range

It absolutely didn't start with Cheetor. It started with G1 Bumblebee. Who was Daniel's best lil buddy? It was Bumblebee before it was Arcee. Then Cheetor and Bumblebee again. Hot Shot doesn't qualify because he's a horrible character, and one of the most reviled characters of all time. He's on that list with G1 Wheelie and I'd rather have Wheelie over him.

I'm happy with the results. Because Rodimus Prime is my all time favorite Generation one persona & toy.

Hopefully if Rodimus Prime wins the hall of fame award at botcon 2012. we get a classics/generations leader sized rodimus prime toy that transforms from a giant robot into a one-piece huge truck mode like the titanium 6 inch rodimus prime toy. if I had my way,i'd increase the 6 inch titanium rodimus prime toy into 9.5 inches & add poseable fingers.,then release it as a classics styled leader class rodimus prime toy.

Hotshot in Armada was clearly the star & main attraction in the cartoon. as the character was shown growing up & eventually becomming the leader of the autobots at the end of the cartoon.

In energon Hotshot was in the cartoon but not the star. kicker & ironhide stole the show.

In the cybertron cartoon series. hotshot did get a major starring role & a bunch of episodes that revolved around him.

their were literally 15 speed planet episodes that starred & revolved around hotshot growing up & learning lessons. then their were more episodes dedicated to hotshot where he & two other robots got badly damaged & used new planet keys to get their upgraded new & more powerful forms. hotshot didn't become the autobo leader at the end of the cartoon, jetfire became the autobot leader. however hotshot did become the speed planet leader at the end of the cartoon.

In RID,Hotshot did have a decent role as a spychanger, hanging out with his spychanger buddies & learning how to get along as a team.

    • If you've not had your fill of Transformers collaborative news today, here is some more with a leaked product listing for the Project Knight: Transformers X Knight Rider crossover. We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers news for the newest multipack and some reissues. We also talked collaboratives with TMNT, an Ectotron reissue and, maybe, even Star Wars? Plus, we address the MP Ginrai teaser image and answer who is Riggorus?
    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
