Please check out my Masterpiece Megatron/Galvatron 4 changer toy idea.

Because I figured it makes sense, considering MP Rodimus is a 4 changer.

How about a megatron that transforms into a gun with extensions. then

he'd transform into galvatron. then ofcause galvatron would transform

into a laser canon alt mode.

I suspose for the idea to work galvatron would have to be in his 1986

galvatron toy colors. that had more grey & less purple. megatron would

have to be in his cartoon colors & not toy colors. galvatron &

megatron would have to both share the same shade of pearl grey.

obviously they'd be some bits & kibble of galvatron in megatron modes.

and some bits & kibble of megatron in galvatron modes. I suspose some of

this can be hidden inside the arms & legs panels. or be cleverly

hidden on the robot back perhaps rearanged to look like a wings or

rocket boosters.

I can envision the robot head changing like mp rodimus does. except

maybe a galvatron crown will flip up from inside the robot head to

form the galvatron head. I suspose the inner robot face can stay the

same.

I'd love to see a megatron that transforms into the entire gun with

extensions like he did in the cartoon. without the extension comming

of, the gun extensions they'd be integrated into the megatron robot

mode. or they'll be 2 inner faces inside the robot head like MP Rodimus has.

obviously most want a galvatron that transforms into a laser canon alt

mode. but for a MP toy this would be too simple a transfomation. so to

incorporate 2 megatron modes would make it more complex.

I guess their can be a few flip up panels that turn the red parts into

purple parts.

Obvious MP weapons could include the arm canon for megatron. laser arm

canon for galvatron. matrix on a chain. megatron energon ball & chain. Galvatron riffle toy gun.

I'd prefer no electronics in this toy. If their has to be any

electronics then make them external & not internal. place the

electronics inside the megatron arm canon & inside the galvatron arm

canon.

I want the least amount of diecast metal parts. but their needs to be

a hint of diecast metal parts pershaps diecast metal feet & that's it.

I'd prefer this 4 changer galvatron/megatron toy be around 9.5 inches

tall. I don't want to see this toy be around 11 to 14 inches tall as

it'll be way out of scale with most TF toys on display shelves. 9.5 is

the perfect size because it's in AEC & movie verse Leader size scale.

ofcause I want this toy to be beyond poseable as this is the MP TF

toys most highest selling feature.

I'd rather Megatron and Galvatron be two completely different and separate toys than to try and cram four modes into one big mess.

Rodimus barely changes between the two robots, and the Rodimus Prime vehicle mode has a gigantic cheat by having the cab shell as part of the trailer itself. And its engineering is STILL so demanding that there's next to zero room for error either on the consumer or manufacturer's end. Besides that, Megatron and Galvatron pretty much require their cartoon colors of silver and purple, since collectors will pretty much get into a fit if they aren't. Original toy accurate is more Hasbro's thing anyway.

Very nice idea, but I'm not seeing physics and engineering letting it work right. The MP line can barely make dual-form TFs look right, let alone one with 4 completely different modes.

I'll be the first to admit,it's no easy task to pull this off.

My general idea was to go the 1987 Punch/counter-punch toy route. where megatron would be on the front side of the robot mode. Galvatron would be on the back of the robot mode. and vice versa.

as far as working in two radically different alt modes. obviously one alt mode would have to make compromises over the other one.

Since megatron already got a MP toy. the Galvatron laser canon alt mode should take center stage & be as accurate as possible.

Perhaps megatron can get that 3rd gun mode that the 1986 galvatron toy had.

When I bought up this thread idea on other TF forums. a bunch of members got excited & wanted this to be "the megatron gets reformatted into galvatron MP toy from the 1986 TF movie". Basically megatron's robot mode would have battle damage paint apps all over it. I don't want the battle damage on megatron to be over the top & have sculpted broken pieces, ripps, tears & missing parts, just battle damage paint apps is what I want.
