We got a very tiny preview and head mold sketch earlier this month, but Fun Publications has now officially revealed Metalhawk, the sixth and final figure from the BotCon 2012 Invasion box set. The character with the same name as the Japanese series Masterforce also sports a trademark Pretender head mold and uses the Transformers Generations Thunderwing mold. In robot mode, the figure's chest is red with yellow accents and is predominantly blue everywhere else with red accents. The vehicle mode is mainly blue with red accents. Take a look at the vehicle and robot mode after the jump! Read the Full News Story Here

Better than Thunderwing, not as good as Sky Shadow, and still an interesting way to do a Pretender homage.

Holy dog shit is that awful. But then again Christmas of '88 was ruined by Pretenders for me. All I wanted was TFs and I got 5 Finbacks?! I had to beg my cousin all day to trade me one for his Octopunch. To this day I hate Finback. Finback I want to kick you in your dumb grey codpiece.

It does look kind of silly, but the human Pretenders always did so. The head is consistent with the other Pretenders that have been made a part of the Generations toy line. One can't complain about that.

I agree with MikePrime. And adding to that it looks like the best figure in the set sans Treadshot. But its not something I want for my collection. Unless people are throwing their sets in trash at the end of the Con.

I don't like how the eyes look. He looks like he is staring up into the sky after drinking a case of Budweiser. I dig the paint job. But he is soso. and I I agree with Jason. Better then Thunderwing, but Sky Shadow is tops.

Breaker I got you too. Treadshot is the top figure of this set, I would put Metalhawk at number 2.

I might revisit this figure in a few years and depending on price on eBay I might buy him 3 years from now, but if I don't no big deal

I think the human face on the robot is a big mistake. Sure, it follows the other Pretender homages who had robot modes styled after their shells, but the faces still looked robotic. This looks like a Metalhawk Guy action figure! If the head looked like the original inner robot, even inorporating the Pretender helmet like the fanclub comic version does, it'd look a lot better to me.
