Octopunch, the Sea Spray Repaint, Confirmed as a BotCon 2012 Attendee Exclusive?

Fun Publications will be offering Octopunch as an attendee figure for BotCon 2012, according to new images leaked onto the Internet. Images of the figure in vehicle mode sealed in plastic painted like the Generation 1 Pretender Octopunch have been posted on the AC Toys forum, lending credence to a rumor that leaked earlier. That rumor referenced the figure would use the Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Voyager Sea Spray, which is confirmed through these images, with a new head mold. Fun released last week a sketch of Metalhawk's head design, another Pretender that will be available at the convention this year. Take a look at the mirrored images in the gallery after the break. im waiting to see the head before i commit to it....im not a fan of that mold...but if the head looks good enough...just maybe..

Funny thing is when this Seaspray came out I said it should be repainted as Waverider. They picked a DIFFERENT water based Pretender.

I don't know if this will get a new head, I believe he was picked as Octopunch because the original head is already wearing a Diving mask....

I wonder if maybe he already had an alternate head. Hasbro was making a lot of them with recent toys. No reason to believe we knew about them all already.
