Quick thoughts on Prime Cliffjumper

Many thanks to my friend Vincent from Canada for helping me grab this GREAT figure.

 

 

 

Here are some (low res) pics I took last night after he arrived in the mail:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pros-

 

 

GREAT looking figure, very show accurate! Looks like a 'Bot waiting for the next fight!

 

Balanced look-can go from calm to wild action poses with ease. Shoulder joints look odd, but function very well for dynamic displaying.

 

Tricky but satisfying transformation. Feels like each step is a necessary to get into robot mode and not just put in there for padding to make him worth the $10-15 price point.

 

Not a BB repaint at last!

 

 

 

 

Cons-

 

A few tabs are a little tight. Be careful at first connect/un-connecting them.

 

A little panel-ly in car mode, but not near as bad as Universe Ironhie or DotM Sidearm Sideswipe. More akin to RTS Windcharger than anything.

You feel like you're going to break him with a few parts needing a little extra 'umph' during the first transformation or two.

 

 

 

 

Overall, this is a figure no TF fan should be without. Even if you don't like Prime the series, get Cliffjumper.
