Thanks to samizam from malaysia who has informed us that Transformers Prime action figures are already out in Malaysia toy shops. He has found and purchased deluxe class figures Bumblebee, Arcee, Starsream, Cliffjumper (sold out) and the Entertainment pack first edition including the DVD and Kids figures. i don't understand the First Edition label. why is this plastered on the blister card?

 

It's probably like those "First Day of Issue" stickers they put on Star Wars figures a while back. It probably denotes the first production run of the toys and is meant to make them more collectible.

I think that would only really appeal to MISB collectors, and even then it's kind of silly. Not to mention it's deceptive in that it creates a false impression of rarity. I doubt anyone would fall for it.

And yet, if I come across 2 identical figures, one with the sticker and on without it, I'll be more inclined to get the one with the sticker.

Damn you Hasbro!!!
