Death Of Optimus Prime? *yawn* This would be death number 345823? Here is an idea, Shock everyone by letting Optimus LIVE! for once LOL

Stop saying Bay Raped the Transformers! *points to the over 1 billion dollars Transformers has made worldwide*

Simon Furman is returning and finishing up the original Marvel Run? Better explain what happened to the Action Master thing. Though I'm still not going to read it. It's been way to long since Issue 81

Not satisfied with messing up alternate versions of the G1 cast, IDW's now going to directly ruin the originals. Great. These guys turned Jazz into a human-killer, but at least it was an alternate incarnation. Now they get to pi** on the classic versions too. Just wonderful. :tfpuke

Why do people actually think this is a good idea?

Ooh! Exciting news about #81! :D Awesome to see fan power in action. :)

Has Marvel rereleased the original 80 issues in an easy to read format?

Marvel doesn't own the rights to Transformers anymore. Titan Books reprinted a lot of G1 and G2 issues - both US and UK runs. IDW have reprinted select issues (also from US and UK) but their reprint quality's -- to be blunt - just crap. Also, unlike Titan, IDW wasn't able to secure the rights to some of the Marvel-owned characters from G1 like Nick Fury, Spider-Man, Circuit Breaker, Death's Head etc., whereas Titan did. So I recommend getting the Titan reprints over IDW's if you can.
