And that's why I don't use eBay! :P

What's worse though is seeing some toys sell for ridiculous prices... and people paying for them. (-_-) At least this one's on 0 bids.

He has a Bumblebee one for the exact same price.

Some one should ask him if he is willing to put it at the normal retail price. LOL

Oddly enough, those are both relistings... They originally didn't sell at $625, maybe he got the whole "discount" process backwards. All the lego type things are high value prices like that too, everything else is slightly more acceptable.

Just a greedy SOB looking for a sap with money that doesn't know any better. I think there's more of them out there than we'd be able to imagine. (The saps that is)

One thing that always baffles me with ebay, I'll watch 20 people in a bidding war for an item that has other listings down the page with cheaper buy it now prices and cheaper shipping. :shrug

Classic example was when DOTM figs hit ebay. I was watching bids going upwards of $80 for deluxe Topspin plus another $20+ for shipping. So I scroll down the page and onto the next, and what do you know, there is a seller selling them outright for $45 shipped.

I guess it's easy to get mad at scalpers for what they do, which is hold very hard to find figures hostage for a hefty ransom. I wouldn't call this seller a scalper seeing he's not really robbing people of a chance to get something really hard to find...he's simply a fisherman looking for some big fat tuna.

Good for a laugh, but not worth getting mad over.

Some people just like the feeling of out bidding others. Though I would splurge on an NFS figure myself.

But then there are those who have to have it before anyone else, and that is why they pay way more for an item, then just waiting for it to show up in the store.

I remember seeing a Generations Warpath sell for $100 on eBay.
