Stickers

So, I just got a G1 with the stickers still on the sheet. Some of the stickers are sticking very well to the plastic (due to the age of the sticker adhesive I guess). Is there a way to get the stickers to adhere more firmly to the plastic of the figure?

Thanks guys

You can buy superglue that has a brush applicator much like nail varnish does. I would apply a VERY thin layer of superglue to the underside of the sticker, then apply it extremely carefully to your ig, as once it-s made contact to the figure, it-s not coming back off again.

I-ve done this with a couple of G1-s, and also my reissue insecticons as the metal sheeting they used for their stickers was too rigid, so gluing it was the only way to keep them from coming off from around corners ect

I don't do this on G1s, but I've used a simple glue stick to help my Reprolabels stay on my Classics/Alternators figures. I can't imagine it would hurt anything, and would probably be safe for G1 as well. But I'm no expert on the subject. :P
