More hype is being heaped upon us in the form of a new screenshot, ahead of the Transformers Dark of the Moon theatrical trailer debut on Apple Trailers tomorrow, April 28th at 7PM Eastern. The image depicts some sort of alien ship invading a city which had us saying something that cannot be written on a family-friendly website. Anyway, like the Shockwave close-up, it is in very high resolution, which you may see after the jump. Read the Full News Story Here

Nah, we need the shapeshifters from the old "Critters" franchise. They were busting aliens since before Will Smith went to Bel Aire.

yeah.. cause blocky uninteresting robot designs would've worked wonderful on an imax screen and an HD tv.

i love G1 just as much as the next guy.. but the way they have designed the robots for the movie is the right way.

Everybody say it with me now. Re-Im-agin-ing.... They're not supposed to look "GEEWUN". it's a remimagining of the frikking franchise. Are some of you so one track minded that you cant see past G1 style???

I'm not the biggest fan of the movies, but damn, some of you need to pull your heads out your G1 block asses :argh and realise there's more to the TF franchise than Optimus dying, coming back and beating Megatron every episode, or series

I have no qualms with the movie designs.

Just that looks right out of the Men in Black cartoon, thus I joked.

:agree

I mean, I know G1 is usually "the defult" Transformers series, and that everything else after must be based off of G1 or you'd.wouldn't like it. I mean, could you imagine if Transformers was ALWAYS based off of G1? Transformers wouldn't even exist! See, the reason Transformers has survived for 27 years is because of it's ability to change. ( No pun intended :P ) I mean, Transformers almost DIED because of G1! If it wasn't for the Beast Wars, we wouldn't be talking here about it.

My point? I'm not saying G1 is a bad series or anything, but Transfomrers is not ALWAYS about G1! :argh Get that into your head!
