PCC 5-Packs At Target For $9.99

What sucks is how totally random the odds are of getting some of these. Two days ago I looked at both Target and two different Walmarts and didn't see anything new, but then I had stopped in a Rite-Aid and there they had a RtS Turbo Tracks with some movie 1 RGR figures, lol. What the freak is up with that?! Plus it was marked up by like $5!! So I got my Tracks for almost the price of a Voyager-- ($17.99) BOOO!!!!

Has anyone heard any rumors about the identities of FPs new WB2 or Crossfire3? Personally, I think the WB2 is Broadside and the Crossfire3 is a set for Energon Constructicons, Also I think that the CA6&7 may be repaints of that set.

Is it worth getting crankcase if I already have bombshock? I was wondering if bombshock plus crankcase's drones would make for a good Bruticus stand in. I already have double clutch, so crankcase would be united with his wayward stunticons.

I'm thinking PCC will pick back up after movie 3. After all, Generations wasnt shown at Toyfare either. yet both lines have new toys in Walmarts computers. I'd almost expect PCC to be absorbed by Cyberverse. Specially if it's an ongoing thing.

They did mention that Generations would continue throughout the year, but were mum about future offerings :schin

I'd say, we should all just wait for what comes after the DOTM toys. I remember all the awesome Animated and Universe stuff they showed us at BotCon 07 that was coming after movie stuff winded down. So maybe that's what is to expect. After all, just like RTS, they can stick any toy in any box. Remember, if he isn't on screen, he isn't movie only ;)

 

Not to mention, guys, it's a movie year. That's where the focus will be for awhile. We've had two movie years before to get used to it :P

Well, of course their knocking down the price....as I said when this stuff came out...A BIG wast of plastic and money. What collector in his/hers right mind would buy that...and if my parents ever got me those when I was a kid...They would smell the corpus in a matter of days.:redface

Bombshock for example was a pretty sweet set, and some of the five packs weren't bad. Especially once you consider the fact you're looking at a combiner built for a $20 pricepoint. And the 2packs were pretty awesome.

 

I'll be sad to see this line die. All it would have taken was a really good drone set and this line would have really taken off. Considering it looks like the last wave is going to be repackaged drones, that means we'll never see the set hit it's potential. At least the final two packs look like they'll keep bringing the awesome.

I think Mudslinger is still my favorite 5 pack, Smolder favorite over all.
