Will we see a "Generations" Galvatron?

OK, since we've seen a ton of RTS/Generations figures which have been representing the 1986 movie characters, does anyone think Hasbro will surprise us with a proper Galvatron figure? As most would agree, the Universe 2.0 Galvatron figure was very underwhelming and suffered from not being a voyager sized figure. With the release of Battle in Space 2-pack Rodimus and Cyclonus, Scourge, Kup, Wreck-Gar, Blurr etc...Does anyone else think Hasbro might surprise us down the line, perhaps later on in the year? With all the different Megatron figures released in the line (2 figures in Classics, one in Generations) I'm hoping his reformatted self will get another chance to shine, hopefully in a better mold. Anyone else agree?

I doubt it, they released Galvatron, they are done with him. He doesn't have the same iconic stature that gives us a new Prime every 6 months

I'm surprised they didn't repaint him into the battle in space pack. maybe a new set with him, cyclonus, and scourge in a year?

regardless, it'll be a loooooong time before we get a new mold for a g1 galvatron. pretty sure we'll see a few repainted megatrons as galvatron soon enough though

Galvatron was part of the Battle In Space set in Japan. Fortunately (or perhaps not so), his craptastic appeal in the US meant leaving him out for the US release. I couldn't see Hasbro or Takara reduxing it.

Plus at Botcon last year they said with Scourge you could have the big 3 from the original movie, indicating that that release of Galvatron is pretty much it.

Geeeeeeeezzz I hope that Hasbro does suprise us. Galvatron is one of my favorite if not my favorite Decepticon. It was such a waste to have him in that small deluxe class when he should be bigger than life! At least Voyager would have been a better fit for him. I STILL want one in Voyager. It's one of the figures that would make my collection "Perfect".

I agree. Galvatron is one of my favorite Decepticons as well. I love his G1 figure, and a part of me even likes the sad deluxe Universe 2.0 figure they released. However, a character of his stature deserved a much better mold. Looking at how cool the recent RTS/Generations figures have been looking, I can't help but wonder/wish that Hasbro would surprise us with a better figure for Galvatron.

i would actually prefer a 3rd party option on this, Hasbro usually needs to include whatever gimmicks that are present in their current toyline in any of their releases and despite the 3mm clip and rubsigns is the least intrusive gimmick in recent years, i would rather fansproject or someone else make something more like an adult collectible that doesnt have to withstand drop tests and the like, as those always impede aesthetics to some degree.

that said, i wouldnt pass on a decent hasbro version.

Sadly,I don't think so. Although I would pay any price for a MASTERPIECE Galvatron.
