IDW Publishing's Editor-In-Chief Chris Ryall has previewed to us covers for February's Transformers Infestation #1 along with two pages from the first issue. The two-issue mini-series will ship bi-weekly in February 2011, with Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning on the script and Nick Roche on the art. John K. Snyder III will lend his skills to a 50s-looking cover for the first issue. In other comic-related news, online comic book retailer Archonia has unveiled the cover to Transformers: Rising Storm #2, the second official prequel to Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the final Michael Bay-era Transformers live action film. Rising Storm ships in the U.S. in March 2011, with writing by John Barber and pencils by Carlos Magno. Read the Full News Story Here

Whats up with that odd-looking guy between Optimus' legs? Who dat?

And this isnt exactly how I would've handled a TF-related zombie apocalypse. Mine involved making the Bayverse good with the Dead Matrix, The Fallen, and several revived baddies.

Must be a Zombie bot, and don't forget there are already 2 Zombies in the BayVerse

Bay doesn't care about other multiverses, why should I care about his? I think its fitting to have an offshoot of the Bayverse be riddled with plot holes.

    • Sure enough, they said it couldn't be done but Hasbro and Takara are one step ahead of us with a Titan Tidal Wave that can still combine with good ol' Megatron. The reveal at Cybertron Fest 2023 of next year's release is shown in his robot mode with accessories. As a bonus, we also get the Cybertronian Wheeljack reveal! Check out the video and images thanks to @Ben Custom Toys. - Read the Full News Story
    • Not the type of vehicle I'd expect in the Velocitron Speedia 500, but Transformers Legacy Scourge if quite formidable. Interestingly, his deco is actually a bit of a mix of a couple of homages, but it comes off looking quite sinister!
    • Thundertron is a unique addition to the Legacy line and shows how deep Hasbro is willing to pull. Transformation is fairly simple but I am concerned about the strain on the mushroom pegs all the twisting will cause over time. The Lion and robot modes feature a striking blue-and-white color scheme that I quite enjoy. I appreciate that the designers could include the best-remembered feature of Thundertron, his peg leg. While Thundertron might not be for everyone, it's nice to see this character from the Prime toy line included.
    • Thanks! I didn't see that vote. I have added that to the post. I agree it makes sense, as the Ultimate looks different enough from the 106 that it will work better. That and the 106 is rather puny for the job.
