January Transformers Comics From IDW Released - Transformers 3 Villain Teased!

IDW Publishing has released the solicitations for their January Transformers comics, and we have some goodies in here. Aside from Foundation, one of the official prequel comic book series of Transformers: The Dark of the Moon, January brings Rise of the Storm, the second official prequel series. The cover released by IDW teases a silhouette view of Shockwave, the main antagonist of the third film, with the word "Classified" plastered over it. Read more after the jump. If that's an accurate representation of what Shockwave will look like in the movie then bring it on! I'm even more jazzed for TF3 now!

 

The new IDW Megatron is looking more like his Animated/WFC counterparts (a good thing) and I can't wait to see what he'll bring to the book!

If you don't use comixology.com you should check into it. It's an awesome service! I already reserved this book at my shop through them. If your retailer isn't a member my guy told me it wasn't hard to sign up and it made things a lot easier for him and his customers!

Looks like Shockwave to me, the horns/antenna/ears/whatever gives it away.

 

If you compare it to Energon Shockblast, his right arm had the cannon and his left arm had a shield. I just hope his right arm isn't a cannon, especially with it being that big. The arm wasn't that big of a deal for me, but it was the only flaw I saw with it.

 

As I scrolled down the page, I was like hey that AHM looks like that silhouette.
