i wonder two things what was the call the cop was going to and why wasnt the road blocked off to keep this from happening. and was the cop aware of the shoot

What can you do in a situation like this? Metro PD had a job to do. I wouldn't peg this on the driver of the SUV or on the film crew. It's simply bad luck :shrug

Yeah, it's extremely unfortunate, but I don't really think you can fault anyone for this. Maybe the PD on perimeter duty for not having access to what's going on outside of the set too, just in case ... but yeah, this is just a bad luck deal. :tfsad

Its still pretty weird for the police to drive through a movie set, shouldn't it have been a closed set?

Well, in the article, it say that "most of the vehicles were driving away."

I'm guessing that while vehicles were rolling away, they had to open the road to let the vehicles out, when it was open, I'm guessing that the police vehicle saw the opening and sliped threw and hit Bumblebee, but that's just a threory.
