Transformers Power Core Bomshock with Combaticons

I didnt watch your review, half way because its kinda lame you put up ALL these reviews of bots that have been online in MANY reviews/video reviews/pictorial reviews ect., for months! And half way because I JUST bought this figure yesterday (friggin, FINALLY! I have been waiting those same amount of months for them to hit retail around here! Jeesh WALMART still doesnt have them in :roll .)

 

....ANYWAYS, I want to point out that i (once again) found NO QC problems, like OH SO many fans clamor about Bombshock (and it seems ALL the PCC have) having, and i am completely fine with his durability and design.

 

I FOUND, that turning his waist around in Super mode, so his suppose'd front of his legs are facing backwards, that makes his knees bend more then 30 degree's and THAT is the problem with his components falling off is when you have him as he is supposed to be combined (in the directions) and you bend his knees, it rubs and they pop off. THIS WAY im combining him like, aviods that.

 

In short, I LOVE THE POWER CORE COMBINERS!!! I WANT THEM ALL! lol

I think PCC ara absolutely ridiculous!! sure the bots themselves can be alright but when combined...........ridiculous. Take the Rallybots when combined. Are those really supposed to be arms?? It infuriates me that hasbro designs that garbage and then has the audacity to put it in stores to sell. It's an insult to my intelligence these figures and all deformed limbed transformers just like them.

I think the exact opposite! I like the combined mode, but the individual bot has alot to be desired. The only reason he's cool is cuz of his PCC mode (imo). Did you get one with limbs that "pop off"? Because mine is totally sturdy and really awesome! I think fans saying "Hasbro insults their intelligence" just makes them sound un-intelligent, myself. Think about the 2 cars or planes that formed ONE robot in the victory series! These aren't too far off that idea. Its a new exciting way to execute thier product in a affordable cheap and (imo)"fun" way!

. I'm pretty sure me being unsatisfied with a product and finding they're designs weak and expecting better does not make me un-intelligent. Those deformed/crippled looking limbs are very difficult for me to turn a blind eye too and imagine them any other way than that. I can try and suspend disbelief and imagine that those are arms but i can't . I like symmetry i guess and PCC isn't doin it for me. So your right though.....too each his own. I just won't buy them that's for sure...I just wanted to gripe about it really for everyone to hear...that;s how much i don;t like PCC.. my rant is now done.....

This cursed toy. I bought this thing expecting some lite enjoyment. Yeah right. Why didn't hasbro notice that this combiner won't stay combined. The jeep in my set seems to want to spring out of formation. Lite fun, meet annoying quality control negligence. I was hoping to pick these things up for my kids but I want them to like Dad. Hasbro just refuses to take the necessary steps to ensure basic functionality. THE SPRING IS TOO TIGHT. ITS TOO BLOODY TIGHT.DAMN YOU. Buying my favorite toys is proving to be the search for defects then possible enjoyment.

Bombshock would have been very good had he been done like The Victory series bots. I'm still iffy on these. Even though I do have The Aerialbots who are only worth $5 and The Combaticons. Who are alright. I agree about the limbs being bad. The PCC's are not Gestalts by any means. And should not be confused with True Gestalts. However from a standpoint of looks I would score Bombshock as a 6 in Combined mode. Commander mode leave a lot to be desired.

And yes it is Hasbro being lazy. They did have to change the story of the PCC's before they even came out do to backlash. That right there should tell you something
