I'm fine with this BB, I'm just worried they'll wreck Starscream again. There are some designs that are open for complete reboots (Ratchet, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Megatron, etc), but there are also those that must stick to an established pattern (Optimus Prime and Starscream). The Bayverse ignored SS's pattern and completely ruined the character.

 

If this BB is so close to his movie self, I'm worried the show's Starscream will also suffer the same fate

Maybe the new cartoon will be okay? I have a feeling that Transformers: Prime is going to be what the movies should have been, within reason of course. Perhaps I should say, the new cartoon will be like if the movies were actually good.

There's nothing wrong with new Transformers, but that argument is kind of stupid. It's not like the children were born with a complete knowledge of G1 Transformers. What's old to us will always be new to someone else.

Yep. Most fans hated Armada, but still you can't deny it ushered in a whole new group of younger fans.

 

I've been into Transformers since day 1(earlier actualy) and here's what I know. It's always gonna evolve. While I love the origional, there's DVDs and reissues. Otherwise, without that evolution the stories and line will stagnate.

Some trends stick, some pass overnight, but each has to run their course before the next thing comes along.

You may not like every itteration of Transformers, I know I haven't. Still, what you liked is out there, so just watch that till this passes over.

I pradicted that someone would come on here to call out G1ers. I also pradicted that the comment will come even though no one is screaming about G1. I think it was common knowledge that this series was going to be in the vein of the movies. Take your ten posts and go start your own forum, I pradict that it wont get good repsonces.

I actually kind of like it, but I do fear SS will get rebooted.

 

Hopefully BB won't be a little kid in this show, cause I hate when they do that.
