Mirror mirror on the wall, can it really be there's an acution for the rarest Megatron of them all? The folks who bring us Lee's Toy Review magazine appear to have one of the ultra rare Hasbro 1994 Megatron Advanced Tactical Bomber action figures up for auction on Ebay. This figure was a bit of a myth for a time until one showed up at BotCon years ago. There's much debate over their being released or not. The extreme rarity and $5,500 starting bid suggests they were not. Read the Full News Story Here

I'm still waiting for my ROTF triple-changing movie accurate Megatron. They did it twenty-odd years ago with Blitzwing. What's the hold up, Hasbro?

That stealth bomber Megatron is pretty cool, though. I'm glad I got to see it but I'd never shell out that kind of scratch for any TF.

So I do have the rarest Megatron of all(I have the Starscream and BB from BWII)? And yes it is the same colors as the Beast Wars II Starscream and BB. The only rare thing here is the box, the figures themselves have been releases multiple times. It's just the box saying Megatron and Starscream thats rare.

I didn't know there was a question about this set. I saw these at a Kaybee in or about '94.

I have the BWII version of those toys. The Starscream mold is good, but it has the same kind of floppy shoulder joints as Cybertron Skywarp. The "Megatron" is rather stout, but it has good articulation in the arms and legs.

Considering how those two combine in jet mode, and the numerous sexual jokes about Megatron and Starscream, it's kind of creepy.
