Also, the first auction does not state for certain that it definitely is a Lucky Draw figure, only that it might be one as stated in the quote below:

Transformers classics unknown version Bumblebee

this might be a japan lukydraw, testshoot, proto. etc

being that it has chrome.. i can't see it being a hasbro release..

It's not chrome, it's silver paint like Hasbro uses on all of their Silverstreak repaints and wheel rims.

it is chrome. seibertron.com and the ebay listing have more angles, and its definitely chrome. Also Generations Thrust has chrome in his cockpit, so this might be Hasbro

I see, the pics in this image made it look very dull and flat. Man, the flashing on the chrome is horrible, like they made the auction piece of discarded parts. You can see a lot of spots where the sprews were connected and not chromed.

Not too crazy about the two-tone paint, could go without the shade used on the front end.

im not sure what you mean by two tone, there's only one color of blue and a white accent stripe?

The images used in this article made it look like there was a light blue stripe between the headlights that stretched above the wheels and some random light blue pattern on the roof/chest. They were there in both bot and alt mode so I thought they were intentional, but they seem to be just artifacting.

The lights could really use some paint behind them, that's always annoyed me about BB.

If this IS a Takara release, then I'm thinking it really might be a Lucky Draw based on the old Microchange blue Beetle. It was also blue, black and chrome (unlike the blue and gray Glyph).

Interesting article. I will say, I still doubt this is a Lucky Draw. All of the Lucky Draws I've seen or heard of were all fully metalized.

The gold chrome ones are certainly the most famous, but there have been tons of colored Lucky Draw figures. Check out LuckyDrawTransformers.com for a bunch of great galleries covering figures you've probably never seen before.

It could be a Lucky Draw, but aren't those normaly carefuly guarded and tend not to show up on ebay before they're announced let alone released?

If it is a Lucky Draw, it would be nice to see one that isn't another Optimus and reaches a few lines back.
