New Peaugh Video Review: ROTF Deluxe Ironhide

I'm sure I'll pick this one up as well. I'm guessing they are going to release Deluxe Ratchet and Ironhide as repaints soon. I like that idea about making him into Trailbreaker. Could even be Hoist, Grapple or Inferno too.

 

I only bought the Recon Ironhide and initially I was disappointed, until I learned how to properly transform him. He became the base for a Custom Movie Menasor I'm making...

He looks great to me! I like the slot system that keeps his chest panels in place. Lots of gimmicks and a fun transformation. Bring it!

I was on the fence with this one...but he looks better than the voyager. Chances of picking him up are very likely.

I received mine last friday, bought it really cheap and almost accidentally on ebay, I must say I agree with hasbro when they say that deluxe is a good size for their figures, making them more price-reachable also, althought looking kinda small, it's a lovely size in its pickup mode and in robot also... This one mold really makes a lot better in the design department, the way the arms hides in the cockpit, keeping it from just hang on the back like in the voyager mold and keeping the weapons away from it's underbelly is a great improvement IMO. I really recommend this one and encourage hasbro to keep downsizing figures for the next movie, i think hey could even give us a gestalt with this size figures and transformable parts. Anyways, I give it a 4 1/2 stars to this figure, being the only down that his left arm doesn't keep the movie cannon, I could easily not to have the drone but a cannon there.
