New Peaugh Video Review: ROTF Deluxe Ironhide

Leave it to Peaugh to get his hands on a new yet-to-be-released figure the really hasn't gotten a whole lot of media attention. How will this new Deluxe version of movie Ironhide stack up to the Voyager? Watch below to find out!

That's pretty good. It may be too little, too late for me, as I'm satisfied with Jungle Recon Ironhide and don't think I need another movie Ironhide.

Just gonna be wird having a mini ironhide on my shelves. Wonder if I have an extra head for a swap, just make him someone else :schin

See thats exactly what I'm thinking, but I can't resist a good transformation.

 

I don't mind having multiples of a figure if they make a good army builder.

 

Ironhide doesn't fit that bill though, he has to distict of a look to the point where I want to off my 07 origional because I like Recon Ironhide better.

 

Movie Ironhide is unique enough to be his own figure to the point where I renamed him 'A-B' still, this deluxe looks inventive enough were I want him. I just don't want 2 A-Bs and the look is to dead on to ignore it with ease.

 

One of the 2 need a head swap, and I'm open to sugestions...

Maybe with a little modification, can turn him into Trailbreaker? It would be an easy modification. Thats what I'm thinking and its been a long time for him

I have absolutely no problem having multiple versions of the same character at different scales . This Ironhide will be mine.

Oh, I'm buyin' that! Looks like fun on a bun. He was losing points for not storing his weapon in alt mode, nice to see it does. (Note that his losing points wouldn't keep me from buying him- I'm such a whore.)

 

I'm buying Dlx Ratchet tomorrow, KMart has a sale, 7.99. Then he'll wait around for Ironhide.

Ironhide wise I'm right there with both of you. Putting aside how Silly Awesome it was he came with all those guns and knives, (looks like he's ready to star in Predator!) The Recon Ironhide finally made some key improvements to the voyager mold and did turn out to be a really solid figure. This deluxe one looks nice, but not neccissarily more accurate (or less fiddly) than the recon version.

Optimus, Hot Shot, Rattrap...

 

this character just lacks that apeal. The toy goodness makes up for it though
