What's your favorite combiner?

Ok so, now that we have this complete section dedicated to combiners, let's use it!

In this thread, name your favorite combiner figure(s) and why you like them. They can be from anything relating Transformers, even knock-offs.

I'll start things off here. Honestly, I think my favorite combiner has to be the Energon Bruticus Maximus set because not only did it turn into a cool gestalt, but all the robot components were solid figures as well.

Ok, I'm done. Now it's your turn.

READY? GOOOO!!!

My favorite is Computron. i like his short stocky look and the colour scheme. Plus all the protruding parts on him. His name suits the way he looks to me. Plus i like him in the cartoons. The deadpan computating way he speaks is sweet. I know he didn't get much screen time but he never lost a fight. Somebody make a COMPUTRON PLEASE!

The Junkions should have had a combiner! Just thought of that now. It would have been a neat combiner concept. Lots of potential there i'd think.

Or like, have a story where Cybertronian scientist discovers this lost transformer tribe on a distant planet and explores their culture and their strange evolution to their transformation ability where they can combine and alter their bodies from objects in their surrounding environment. This adaptation was then the inspiration of the combiner technology.

Just a an idea.....having a little fun. I know it's already been established how the technology came about but i just felt like throwing something else out there for shits and giggles.;)

G1-PREDAKING

G2-Devistator, the yellow works

Beast Wars, Magnaboss, very well decorated and moble in the combined mode

Beast Machines, Magmatron, cause I thing he was the only one, plus a stateside release to get the figure

RID, Railracer (JRX), I love how the 3 figures merge into eachother

Armada, Ultra Magnus, OK so it's a brick but Prime, Jetfire, and Overload look pretty bad ass together

Energon, ground assault Prime Saber, just invert the arms so the double barrels make the fist and the red launchers make for some very impresive smokestakes

Cybertron, Sonic Attack Prime, cause I can't think of another one really worth while

Universe, Devistator, sure it's another Landfil repaint, but it works.

TF1, none come to mind

Animated, Safeguard is a pile of :poop

TF2, ICE Cream Truck all the way!!! Sure FP is making the Energon Superion and Bruticus kickass, but come on, the alt alone in unique enough, but craming 2 detail figures in there just way ups the anti :thumb

I can agree with all of this except I have no experience with Armada, Energon or Cybertron. Although I have the ROTF Superion set, Silverbolt is particularly crappy as an individual.

As much as I love Animated, Safeguard was a bit of a let down. If it has a saving grace it's the unique way in which JetFire and Jetstorm combine sideways rather then one on top and one on bottom.

You forgot to mention G1 cassettes. They are wonky looking but you have to admit they aren't without their charm. Im speaking of course about Beastbox and Squawktalk (Squawkbox) and Grand Slam and Raindance (Slamdance). I have no experience with dino cassette combiners because I CANT FIND ANY OF THEM!

G1 Predaking is my absolute favorite. I've always liked how each of his five individual robots were all big and not just the center one. It made him different from all the other combiners, and not to mention he just looks badass!

I only picked one from each series, so Predaking beat the cassettes.

Safegard did have a good concept, but the execution was so poor that it doesn't matter.

If you missed out on AEC thats to bad, alot of great figures in those lines.

I saw the horrible tv shows. A few from each series and then a subsequent break from TFs alltogether. I didnt return from my hiatus until the Transformers movie 1 was starting to come into fruition.

Ill tell you what my new most hated combiner is: Iron Man and Spider-Man. Fucking fail.

I got that for $20 last weekend. The two individual figures aren't that bad. I like the Spidercopter better then the bike, and I never got the Regular Ironman so thats OK.

Both combined modes are just putting a jet on Spider-Man, and yes, that does suck.

For $20 I'm still happy to have it, the kid downstairs can smack them around and leave my stuff alone. Since they are characters he knows he'd rather play with them then the regular TFs so it's all good.

I got it on clearance at Target for $14. The figures feel cheap and blocky. No posability. For figures their size I think they should have been a lot better. Are all Marvel Crossovers like that? I wouldn't mind having Captain America, Thor and Carnage but not if their as crappy as these.

Still getting Ghost Rider no matter what tho.

Captain America is okay. Thor and Carnage, not so much.

Uh, I think the Universe Bruticus Maximus, followed by Legends Devastator.
