The Awesomeness of Leader Class Jetfire

Whether or not you get Jetfire, RotF Leader class Prime is definitely worth it. It's a much more movie accurate representation of the character in his robot mode, vehicle mode and transformation. As for Megatron, I went with the Voyager class mold for that very same reason. I wish that Hasbro had used the Voyager class design for the Leader class.

Getting a leader prime... then a voyager megatron... makes no sense to me... if I have to do that... i'll save the money and get neither one... if Hasbro can't get their chit together... they don't want my money. I'll get leader both (to match the leaders from before) or i'll get neither... i actually WANT to get them... but i'm having a hard time talking myself into it. The more and more QC issues.. and poor kibble.. poor representation... etc.... I'm starting to feel about the toys the same way I did about the 2nd movie now. I am leaning towards just keeping my 1st movie stuff and saving my money for the next MP that comes out.

As far as Jetfire goes - color me unimpressed. Bot mode isn't that great.. and in plane mold looks AWESOME from overhead.. but not from any side or bottom. Not sold on it yet.

Well, I care more about the accuracy of the design compared to the movie more than I do size. Like I said, I would have preferred if they had used the Voyager class Megatron's design for the Leader class, but they didn't for whatever reason. Voyager class Megatron was more movie accurate than Leader Megatron, and RotF Leader Optimus is the most movie accurate design there is of any toy version of the character from either movie's toy line, so he was an absolute must have even though I already had the Voyager class version of him from the first movie. I didn't have a Megatron though. Thus, my choice was a larger Megatron which was less accurate or a smaller one which was more accurate. I chose the latter for its level of accuracy.

That's also why I'm looking at getting the Legends class Devastator rather than the Supreme class.

Jetfire looks like cat with all those whiskers. :tflaugh I wish Hasbro would have done better with his alt mode, like they did with prime but like I said I enjoyed the character in the movie so he's a definite buy for me. Can't wait until he arrives tomorrow. :yay

Tidbit about the real Blackbird, ALL have beds in them for the other pilot, MOST have had their standard issue beds ripped out by their pilots... They put in a SUNLOUNGER! Thats right while the thing keeps accelerating there is some guy fast asleep in the back on a cheapo sunlounger with a futon mattress...

I picked up my Leader Jetfire this morning at Walmart in NW Houston, TX. Awesome figure!

I have a quick question:

Mine has one red light in the chest. Is this correct? I thought there was supposed to be two, but only one in the chest lights up, to the right of my finger when I press the switch down. I looked at a video review, and I think it shows one light in the chest, but I wanted to be sure.

Thanks to anyone that can help me out here.

i just noticed, the writing by jetfire's nose says:"This aircraft contains a seat containing an explosive" and more stuff i can't quite make out, that really is a nice touch

It's a great detail, altho I had a hard time reading it- I'm 38, just about time for the old eyes to start pooping out.

Does the pilot's name, something-Brawley, have any significance in the TF universe?

JT, mine only has one red light, though my light lights up to the left of the switch.
