For Those of You Who Didn't Like ROTF

I think people who don't like the movie are gripping the club a little to hard. I mean many of these people are going to turn around and tell you how much they loved the old cartoons which had things like Wierd Al musically numbers and Robots in lab coats.

Shall we compare the original Animated movie to RotF? Cause you'll find that we get the personalities of most of the new characters (save, say the Sweeps), the action is clear, you can tell what's going on, had an EPIC finale etc

While RotF had a crap finale, no personalties, dodgy editing, no characterization save four or five robots, you couldn't tell what was happening most of the time etc etc...

Short concise comparison. Don't make such silly speculations about people you don't know...

you either have no sense of humor.. or you were expecting some kind of deep thought provoking movie..

soo.. get a sense of humor and realize that it's A SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER ACTION MOVIE WITH GIANT TRANSFORMING ROBOTS BASED ON A CHILDRENS CARTOON.

i thought the movie was great.. a ton of comedy, a ton of action, a good story line, a good plot, incredible visual effects, and great toys t'boot..

what is so terrible about that..

oh and.. i thought i was going to hate skids, mudflap, and wheelie.. but i thought they were all really funny.

so give it a rest and just enjoy a visually incredible movie with some very funny comedy.

I have no problem with brainless summer blockbuster action. I've seen quite a few, and enjoyed some of them.

I _do_ have a problem with a movie that looks like it was shot by a first-year film dropout and edited by a blind man. It's so goddamn visually jarring I can't believe i didn't want to keep looking even though Megan Fox was on. Bay made me want to stop looking at Megan Fox. That's a bad thing.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's time to abandon filming conventions. Maybe we should all see the world of cinema in a Mountain Dew-induced caffeine haze.

:rofl :rofl :rofl Guys, these comments are priceless. I'm not sure what he was expecting by opening this thread?!

A "visually incredible movie with some very funny comedy" pretty much sums up anything coming out of Hollywood these days! That particular description doesn't scream TRANSFORMERS to me...
