I haven't touched mine in quite some time and haven't transformed it in over a year, but I'm fairly certain they're all the same

EDIT: just looked at it. the only difference on those radar parts is in that center block that swings up during transformation. if that's what you're referring to, than sorry, my bad. 2 of them should have a peg, 2 should have a hole, and they connect together through the foot. if you're stuck with duplicate parts, it sucks, but it should all still hold together no problem. and btw, its a pain in the ass to connect them most of the time anyways

That is exactly what I was trying to confirm. I was able to talk to a couple of other people that have the sets and I watched a couple of YouTube reviews as well. What everyone has responded back saying confirmes that I got 4 of the same part. :tfsad

So I took a look at mine again, but this time, I actually removed the piece. WHOA!!! I know, right? Anyways, if you are talking about those rectangular pieces that rotate out, then yeah, I have 2 males and 2 females.

Before now, I didn't even know what those connectors were used for. Then I figured it out. When each 1/4 of the dish are connected to form the feet, those connectors connect through the leg limbs's legs. Its not really a necessary connection for the toy. Think of it as a steering linkage (?) that connects both front tires of a car.

Did you buy the kit used? If so, then maybe that person had 2 sets and somehow got them mixed up without knowing.

Yeah, I meant when your are connecting the radar dish pieces together through his feet, but I see how you could misunderstand what I said. Yeah I got the kit second-hand on eBay. Unless you took your set out of the box you wouldn't know that the pieces were incorrect. I was looking at it, and I think I'm going to dremel the one side out and make a female connector for it. I was hoping that someone might have 4 pieces in their set with 4 holes and we could help each other out.

Hey guys, where is everyone finding these sets? I'd love to find them at the introductory price.

Yeah so would I. I finally found the set for $100 on eBay....If only I would have just bought them when they came out.....both times...I wouldn't have this issue. Thanks guys for responding and helping me out. Appreciate it. I sent an email to FP hoping that they may help me out.....but I think that's a long shot.....I guess I should buy that protector armor for my Hot Rod before it disappears and starts selling on eBay for $300.....now that i was able to find the Battle in Space set.

A few online stores like TFsource and BBTS had a freak shipment of these in last week. I think both stores are sold out agian though...

tfsource found some stock last month. bbts had it up for pre-order two weeks ago and those came in last week. bbts has it for preorder again.

on a side note, hypothetically, if they re-release the kit in black, would anyone want to trade for one of my 3 gray sets?

Don't jinx the Protector!! I still need that set and it'll take me a while to get it! I kinda lucked out on City Commander's second incarnation and I'm hoping that I can still find the Protector armor when I'm ready to get it.
