now that's how a $100 gestalt should be done

Unique arm/leg molds would also be a nice touch...

well i ordered this bad boy. and all i have left is to find one more terradive, then i can start construction on my custom superions!

quick questions though, what's up with the visor? is it part of the set? i hope so, it's pretty sweet. also, have they decided on a definite color yet? i actually prefer the lighter gray of the prototype, but i can live with either, just as long as it doesn't end up being black.

also, if anyone has grabbed the 25th or the movie versions that just came out, and plan on throwing out the box and insert, please let me know! I could use two of them if your not going to keep yours, pm me or post here.

Did anyone have any issues with the Satellite Dish parts? I finally got my hands on it for my ROTF set and I the one I got has either 4 left or 4 right sections for the radar dish? I sent an email to Fansproject as I can't see someone doing this on purpose? The 2 halves that make up the left and right side of the foot both have the same connector [ Male ] for all 4 pieces. It's weird because they still form the radar dish without an issue. I know this is an old topic, so here's hopin someone will respond! :tfmad

Wheres the "throwing a shoe" emoticon cuz seriously... WTF, DJBomberman... when I saw the title, I thought: "WTF! They are redoing the kit!? Sweet!" ... but nooooo, you just had to revive an old thread... aha

Anyways, both of my radar dishes (reg and sm) are the same as you described, no issues.

Sorry Guys... :redface Didn't mean to create such animosity.... Just trying to get an answer.... :tfpwn

So what you are telling me is that What I have is correct? That all 4 parts to the radar dish are the same? How to they connect to the leg as the Instructions printed on the box show otherwise?

I haven't touched mine in quite some time and haven't transformed it in over a year, but I'm fairly certain they're all the same

EDIT: just looked at it. the only difference on those radar parts is in that center block that swings up during transformation. if that's what you're referring to, than sorry, my bad. 2 of them should have a peg, 2 should have a hole, and they connect together through the foot. if you're stuck with duplicate parts, it sucks, but it should all still hold together no problem. and btw, its a pain in the ass to connect them most of the time anyways

I believe you have described the bolded sentence wrong because those pieces aren't used to connect the dish together.

So I took a look at mine again, but this time, I actually removed the piece. WHOA!!! I know, right? Anyways, if you are talking about those rectangular pieces that rotate out, then yeah, I have 2 males and 2 females.

Before now, I didn't even know what those connectors were used for. Then I figured it out. When each 1/4 of the dish are connected to form the feet, those connectors connect through the leg limbs's legs. Its not really a necessary connection for the toy. Think of it as a steering linkage (?) that connects both front tires of a car.

Did you buy the kit used? If so, then maybe that person had 2 sets and somehow got them mixed up without knowing.

Hey guys, where is everyone finding these sets? I'd love to find them at the introductory price.
