My Answer: She definately appears to kick more butt this time, especially with Wheels as he is initially a Decepticon spy trying to steal Sam's fragment from her dad's shop. However, they appear to become quite close, as he becomes more her "pet" Transformer in the end. Mikaela also has a little encounter with Alice, although brief since Alice has just revealed herself.

...wait, a minute...I think the comics pulling a little bait-and-switch on us. What I'm mistaking for the guy that makes up Dev's left arm, I think is actually the 7th Constructicon from the Legends set (the earth loader truck), who is red. Then when we see Dev formed, he disappears & the crane guy appears as the yellow left arm. I call foul... :wtf

Yea it doesn't make any, individually I can only see 5 constructions, still have no clue as to the purple one is.

Purple...red...same difference. That's the extra constructicon from the Japanese Legends set (the earth loader). He's showing up in the individual shots...but when they show Dev, we get the yellow crane figure as the left arm. Can we say, "sounds like G1 discrepancy!" ;)

WHAT, IF ANYBODY CAN TELL ME, IS SOUNDWAVE'S EARTH FORM?!?!?! *sigh* and I'm certain it's not a silverado like the concept art shows because he's supposedly taller than long haul... who in these pics looks taller than Meggers...hhhhmmmmmmmm

I had heard a blue pickup truck but i'm not positive, I also heard his earth mode could fly, Another Jet just great :tfsad Lets pray not i really dont want him to be a jet. He'd better have a earth mode or i'll be so pissed at michael bay! Also Lets hope he has a decent amount of screen time he was supposed to be in the first but they felt they didnt have him in it enough to make anybody happy so i think he should be in it for a while. :yay

I don't have the book, but wouldn't the purple one be the one that sacrificed his spark to revive Megs? If he is, then I was right about there being another Constructicon: http://forums.TFormers.com/talk/index.php?showtopic=111224

 

BUT, are you even sure he is a Constructicon? Just because he is seen with them doesn't make him one, unless you have pics of his alt mode. From the pics posted, I think that purple con is a Submarine. Notice in the first pic there are 2 submarines (one purple and the other in the background which could be purple as well). Now in the 2nd pic there is only 1, which looks like it is about to blow up.

A possibility but these books can be so inconsistent. On the one hand the first book illustrated Megs and the other cons being defeated and leaving the planet alive. Now this book claims he's the only bot that was defeated. Anyway...

 

I just assumed that Demolisher destroyed both subs but we on get to see him whack one. :shrug

Sorry there are no pictures of the constructicons in their alt mode, and the book doesn't list individual names and only refers to them as "constructicons" or "bad bots." "NCTransfan" may have more on this.

 

Also there no indication of a con sacrificing himself, in this book at least. The Allspark shard that ravage stole from the vault has "Megatron's signature on it." Soundwave then instructs the constructicons to the location of Megatron where as the doctor installs the Allspark into Megatron's body.

Again, I did read two different endings and agree that the more violent of the two could really be the true ending. In that case, "The Fallen" is destroyed when Optimus slams the a broken piece of the machine into his skull and then wacks Megatron to pieces with a steel girder... literally. This makes even more sense, since Megs has been rebuilt with other Decepticon parts (according to the action figure, which has pieces of Brawl... his arm etc.) This makes me think they maybe those replacement parts aren't integrated as strongly as his original? By the way, Megs still appears to use his jet form quite frequently in this film, while his tank form only seems to appear in the end.

 

Both books show that Devastator faces the same stopping force in the end, which effectively separates all of the Constructicons but does not appear to destroy them.

 

Regarding Mikaela, she does wrestle around with Wheels at first. She threatens him with a blowtorch and locks him in a metal box, which she later throws at Alice spinning her head around 360 degrees.
