Alright, first I would like to say that I own half of the seacons. I got them as "hand-me-downs" from a cousin. I was a huge fan of G1 in my youth, but remember little. (Only that Grimlock, Badass!! :tfevil ) I do not remember the Seacons. :tfsad Their combined form looks wicked-cool. :tfgrin Please tell me all!!

the seacons come from the anime Transformers Super God Masterforce, which has not been OFFICIALLY released in the US. You can order the DVD sets, as well as Zone and Headmasters (which are also awesome) here

yes the seacons are wicked cool, but they are not officially g1.

even though g1 stopped airing in the states hasbro was still putting out g1 toys or where they, the toys hasbro put out where coming from the japan series.

this is also responsible for micro masters,pretenders,powermasters,etc...

the Marvel comics brought over a bunch of people from Masterforce: the Pretenders, the Seacons, the Powermasters. And all of those characters were in the G1 toy line, but none of them ever appeared in the cartoon. One of the reasons why I like the comic continuity better than the cartoon.

no, they were in the Transformers anime, Super God Masterforce. They were in the G1 toyline, and they appeared in the Marvel comics, but not in the G1 cartoon. Go here, it's the same topic.
